Brooklyn Beckham signs for Queens Park Rangers" academy
Brooklyn Beckham has signed for Queens Park Rangers academy. Just as his father, David Beckham, retires from professional football, Brooklyn has joined the side”s youth training school, who train near the Beckham”s home in west London.
Brooklyn, who turned 14 in March, has previously had trials at London club Chelsea and played for the LA Galaxy Under 14s team when David was based at the West Coast team.
Since the news was anounced, football fans already have their eye on Brooklyn to follow in his father”s footsteps and play for England one day.

David was also only 14 when he signed forms with Manchester United on his 14th birthday, he has become one of the most celebrated and recognised sportsman of his generation. The 38-year-old announced his retirement on Thursday, bringing to an end a stellar career that has seen him captain England more than 100 times and play with four international football teams.
Winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award as well as a string of UEFA and FIFA accolades, the affable sportsman has carved an enviable career path for his talented son to follow.
The star has trained with his son on several pitches across the world, and was recently spotted playing with Brooklyn on Paris Saint Germain”s training ground.
However, talented youngster Romeo has followed in his mother”s footsteps.
The fashionista has been featured on several billboards modeling Burberry”s latest campaign.
"Romeo might be on the billboards and be the Burberry model, but he”s also one of those little boys who loves going home and playing on PlayStation or going over to the park and having a kick around," said David.
"[My children] are very grounded, they do normal things – as normal as they can, obviously, given our situation."
Football fans are betting on Brooklyn’s success as a footballer, with favourable 9/2 odds for Brooklyn to play in the Premiership League.
