Jennifer Lopez: We Had to Save Casey Abrams

Jennifer Lopez: We Had to Save Casey Abrams The “American Idol” judges shocked the world last week when they saved contestant Casey Abrams from elimination, and Jennifer Lopez dished to Ryan Seacrest about their heart-pounding decision.

“We knew that it was kind of a radical decision because it was so early in the season, but to be quite honest…that is one decision that I haven”t lost one ounce of sleep over,” Lopez revealed on Seacrest”s KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning. The 41-year-old judge is promoting her latest single, “I”m Into You,” in addition to her judging gig.

Lopez, along with fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, discussed saving Abrams after America voted him off last Wednesday and cut his swan song early to deliver the good news. Though some viewers think it was too early for the judges to use their one and only save, Lopez has no regrets.
“Now it”s up to America. I really feel we put 11 amazing contestants in front of them, and now it”s [about] who their favorite is, who”s going to be their “American Idol,”" she told Seacrest.

This week”s results show will be a bit different, however, as not one but two contestants will say farewell Thursday night. With the stakes raised even higher, everyone brought their A-game during their Elton John-themed performances Wednesday.

An Oscar Win for Natalie Portman Could Make Her One of the Highest Paid Actresses in Hollywood
